We are a designer jewelry brand dedicated to reviving 8,000-year-old Chinese lacquer art—an Intangible Cultural Heritage recognized by UNESCO. Our Craft & Materials
We adhere to traditional lacquer craftsmanship passed down for millennia: our natural lacquer is sustainably tapped from 8-10 year-old lacquer trees grown in mountainous areas (500-2500m altitude), then purified, filtered, and hand-applied in 3-5 thin coats (each ≤0.05mm) to high-quality bases (925 sterling silver, copper, and natural wood). Every piece is hand-painted by artisans with over 10 years of experience, followed by meticulous polishing with 4000-5000 grit sandpaper to achieve a warm, smooth luster.
