No LacLume piece comes from an assembly line; each is a labor of patience and dedication. From tapping the tree to the finished piece, it undergoes at least 30 steps and 60+ days of natural curing—haste has no place here:

Base Selection & Shaping: We choose premium materials like 925 silver and aged wood for the base, ensuring both texture and durability to prevent deformation from the start.
- Base Reinforcement: Ramie cloth soaked in raw lacquer wraps the base, cured naturally three times—With proper care, lacquer pieces can endure for centuries—a testament to this ancient material’s remarkable durability.

Priming Coats: 3-5 layers of raw lacquer are applied by hand. Each layer cures naturally in a humidity-controlled room (20℃, 65% humidity), with artisans often enduring swelling from lacquer sensitivity.
